Trump dominated in the bulk of the key swing states with a tight victory in Florida of 49 per cent to 48 per cent, and successes in North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, and many many more.

Donald Trump will take up his role as President of the United States in January next year.
It will be interesting to see whether he will be joined in the white house by Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
